Take Me, the feature that gives you freedom to go anywhere

Not even a guide dog can lead you to a place you’ve never been before.
A guide dog doesn’t have GPS, so the blind person must tell the dog what to do at every turn. After doing this dozens of times, the guide dog learns the route.
But what if you could simply ask your guide dog to take you anywhere in the world, and it would guide you safely there?
That’s what the Take Me feature of the .lumen glasses does.
How Take Me works
You can save locations in the glasses menu, like home, office, or school, and access them anytime you wish.
If you want to go somewhere new or more complex, you can open any map app on your phone, Google Maps, Apple Maps, or others, find the destination you want to reach, tap Share to .lumen glasses, and they’ll take you there, safely and independently.
Technology that understands the world, step by step
Over time, the Take Me feature will become more and more advanced:
if you want to have a coffee at Starbucks near the Eiffel Tower, the glasses won’t stop at the door, they’ll guide you all the way to the counter;
if you say “take me to my car”, they’ll lead you to the door closest to an open parking spot;
if you say “take me to my office”, they’ll know exactly where your desk is, not just the building.
For the first time, a blind person can choose a destination, reach it, and explore the world with confidence, without relying on external help.
For those who can see, this may seem normal. For those who can’t, it’s the beginning of a completely new world.
