Accessibility Statement
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.dotlumen.com, operated by DotLumen SRL, and reflects the company’s commitment to ensuring a high level of digital accessibility for all users, including persons with disabilities.
This statement was prepared based on an accessibility evaluation carried out in January 2026 and is valid from the date of publication. It will be reviewed periodically, particularly following significant changes to the website or to the applicable legal framework.
1. .lumen's commitments
.lumen develops assistive technologies dedicated to people with visual impairments, and digital accessibility is a core element of the company’s values and mission.
We are committed to providing a website that is functional, easy to use, and as accessible as possible, in accordance with the requirements of the European standard EN 301 549, WCAG 2.1 / 2.2, and the provisions of Law no. 232/2022 on accessibility requirements applicable to products and services.
Accessibility is approached as an ongoing process of improvement, fully integrated into the development and maintenance of the website.
2. Compliance status
Following the evaluation, the website www.dotlumen.com is partially compliant with the requirements of EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
The assessment identified both compliant elements and a number of aspects that require improvement in order to ensure an optimal experience for users who rely on assistive technologies.
3. Non-accessible content
At present, certain sections of the website may present accessibility limitations for the following reasons:
- some images or graphical elements do not provide sufficiently descriptive alternative text
- the semantic structure and heading hierarchy are not always fully coherent for assistive technologies
- in certain situations, color contrast does not meet the recommended minimum ratio
- some interactive components may be difficult to use exclusively via keyboard or screen reader
- the extensive use of ARIA attributes requires optimization to avoid ambiguity in screen reader interpretation.
These non-conformities do not affect the core functionality of the website, but they may hinder equal access to information for certain user groups.
4. Remedial actions
.lumen has initiated a phased plan to improve digital accessibility, which includes:
- correcting heading hierarchy and semantic structure
- improving visual contrast and text readability
- reviewing alternative text for images and media elements
- optimizing keyboard navigation and screen reader support
- aligning the use of ARIA attributes with W3C recommendations.
The website is built and hosted on the WIX.com platform, and accessibility improvements are implemented in collaboration with the platform provider, within the available technical constraints.
5. Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on the basis of an accessibility evaluation that included:
- automated testing using dedicated tools
- manual testing, including navigation with a screen reader
