.lumen will be present at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2024, the world's most important technology fair, with 2 stands.
CES Participants are invited to meet .lumen and test the Glasses at the Venetian Expo, Hall G - 62857 - Eureka Park.
.lumen will be one of the 15 companies that will be present in the European Pavilion organised by the European Innovation Council (EIC). EIC has already financed the company that is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, with an amount of 9.7 million EUR in December 2021. The company will also be present at the stand of Dassault Systèmes 3D Experience Lab, the French company that builds 3D design and simulation software. .lumen is in a partnership with Dassault Systèmes, being the first Romanian start-up in the 3D Experience start-up acceleration program of the French giant.
CES is an opportunity for .lumen to publicise the company's mission overseas, and to prepare the strategy for entering the American market.
"Having 2 booths at CES is yet another proof of our ambition to help people around the globe with a unique product at the limits of what today's technology can do. To have this work recognized by the European Innovation Council, by inviting us to be one of the 15 European companies present at our continent's pavilion is an honor. Also, the fact that our partners from Dassault Systèmes invited us to share a stand with them, a French giant present in dozens of countries, shows how far we have come", declares Cornel Amariei, CEO and founder of .lumen.
The start-up's mission: to help visually impaired people live a better life is the one that ensured its presence in this exclusive program. The glasses for the blind reproduce the main characteristics of a guide dog, all in a scalable product. They will allow users to have a better mobility, helping them to have easier access to education and then jobs, thus helping to improve their social life.
The glasses are currently in preparation for production, expected to reach the market in the second half of 2024.
