EIT Health Catapult is a training and competition program that boosts European health startups by exposing them to top-quality experts and international investors. The program is organized by the European Institute of Innovation & Technology, an independent body of the European Union set up in 2008 to deliver innovation across Europe.
In its sixth year, only 42 startups have been chosen to participate in the Semi-finals stage during 1-3 December 2021. Afterward, the top 21 companies will be invited to pitch during the finals at the EIT Health Summit, where they will compete for the €210,000 investment prize fund with the Audience Award Winner displayed on the New York Nasdaq Tower.
In the following months, .lumen will enter intense training days with field experts, which will help optimize business plans and pitching sessions.
We are yet again proud to represent the needs of 40 million blind individuals worldwide and are looking forward to the Semi-finals, where we will pitch in front of an international, high-profile jury and an audience of experienced corporate representatives, experts, and investors.
.lumen builds an assistive system that mimics the main advantages of a guide dog, without the drawbacks that make one a non-scalable option; a solution for the other 39,980,000 blind individuals.
